Service Staff & Service Excellence Award
All of us here at Giant value service excellence, putting our hearts and minds into making sure every customer feels at home and is cared for. With such dedication, Giant has already been awarded the Service Staff and Service Excellence award.
The Excellent Service Award (EXSA) is a national award that recognises individuals who have delivered outstanding service. It seeks to develop service models for staff to emulate, create service champions, professionalise services, and raise the prestige of a career in services.
The award is open to all levels of staff within an organisation, with nominees needing to meet a set criteria in order to be shortlisted. There are three categories, namely Silver, Gold and Star Award.
In 2014, Giant had two winners in the Silver category. One of our staff was also finalist for the Singapore Retail Association’s Young Executive of the Year Award
BCA Green Mark Gold Plus Award
Giant Hypermarket at Suntec City has received the Green Mark Gold Plus Award from the Building and Construction Authority for its energy-efficient store design and eco-friendly features. It’s the first hypermarket in Singapore to receive the award.
HACCP certification is an international standard defining the requirements for effective control of food safety. We’re proud to declare that all our 61 stores have achieved HACCP certification SS 444:2010. This means the food sold at our premises is safe for consumption.
We are proud to announce that all Giant stores are Halal-certified. Giant stores offer the most comprehensive range of Halal products for Muslim customers in Singapore.
